BE A PART OF CARING MISSION

The Trust have been providing free dialysis to the economically poor kidney patients since 2010. At that time the treatment facility was given collaborating with The Red Crescent Hospital at Feroke. Later the number of patients increased and more space and machines were required.So Sri,VKC Mammedkoya and Sri, M.Khalid extended their support by donating 43 cents of land at Nallalam for a dialysis centre.With the support of VKC Group, Co operative banks of the constituency and other generous hearts, a five storied building has been constructed at that place for the Dialysis Centre.

Dialysis and Medical Centre at Nallalam ,Kozhikode, Operated by Beypore Mandalam Development Mission Charitable Trust is a beacon of hope for countless kidney patients,offering them life saving dialysis treatment completely free of charge,and has been a life line for those in dire need.

A Typical kidney patient requires dialysis every alternate day-around 13 to 14 sessions monthly.The cost of this treatment is exorbitant,ranging between 25000 to 35000 rupees per month per patient.For families already struggling ,this burden can be devastating ,often leading to financial ruin.

Free Dialysis

We provide dialysis to the poor kidney patients of Beypore constituency and Olavanna grama panchayath area ,completely free of charge. The selection process is transparent and first come first serve basis.Only criteria is economic backwardness.

To date we have provided 85000 free dialysis treatments to destitute patients.Currently we offer 1326 free dialysis sessions every month,serving 102 patients. Apart from these we distribute free medicine to 200 poor patients.

Early Detection Medical camps.

Kidney disease does not manifest any symptoms at its beginning stage.So they go unnoticed until both the kidneys get irrecoverably damaged .If it could be diagnosed at an early stage ,there is treatment and cure.So to detect the early symptoms of nephropathy ,we conduct free early detection medical camps at each and every locality of the region.These medical camps are also organized and arranged with the help of Local Self Government Institutions and other voluntary groups such as Resident Associations ,Clubs and Libraries.

By these free medical camps the Trust aims to filter those who have early signs of renal diseases and provide them proper medical guidance so as to prevent them from becoming a life long kidney patient.

Awareness Programs

With the alarming rise in kidney diseases due to poor life style choices and unhealthy diets ,our center conducts awareness campaigns ,educational programs and classes.We have trained a team to conduct these classes at any public gatherings.At present classes are conducted co operating with local voluntary organisations ,libraries ,clubs ,residents associations and Kudumbasree.

Other Services

The centre provide O P service of experienced senior doctors.And operate an economic friendly medical laboratory for the public with all modern facilities and equipments.There is a pharmacy that provide maximam discount rates to patients.
